Apple Developing Privacy-Focused AI Chatbot Apple GPT!!

Hey guys, so it appears that sooner or later, Siri will get smarter. Apple is now rumored to be working on a new Apple GPT service, yes, to compete with OpenAI chat GPT, Google, BERT, and many others in this space. A new report today, coming from Bloomberg's Mark German, indicates that Apple is now working on this chatbot, if you will, that some developers refer to as "Apple GPT." I wanted to talk about that in today's video because it is super exciting. This will impact the way we use our iPhones, iPads, and also Apple services in general. So let's go ahead and dive right into this one.

Of course, as we know, Siri is lacking behind in terms of virtual assistance in comparison to OpenAI, Google, and Microsoft. Apple has already integrated some of this AI technology into the iPhone's operating system. A great example of that is the new "Personal Voice" under accessibility. In iOS 17, if you go into your settings on your iPhone, you go on their accessibilities, and then you tap right here, "Personal Voice," your iPhone can actually generate a voice that's almost identical to your personal voice. So that you can go ahead and use your iPhone to communicate in your voice. Just say, clear demonstration in a clear potential of AI integration into iOS software.

According to Mark German, Apple has been internally testing this chatbot, which some developers call Apple GPT. The project uses the framework called Ajax and started building this around 2022. We're now hearing about this one, but Apple is planning to integrate this into various services, not only into iOS, but things like Apple Care, things like chat support, iPad OS, iOS Siri, and maybe many other aspects of Apple's entire ecosystem and services throughout their operating system, which is very exciting as well. It looks like Apple will soon be making an announcement, say, soon because we're less than six months away. According to Mark German, it appears that Apple will be making some type of announcements early 2024 in regards to Apple GPT. Again, this could be anything from chat support for customer service, Apple Care support, and other things of that nature.

Now, of course, this will also trigger down to bring in and standalone maybe application or integration into Siri, which I'm super excited about. Again, as we know, Siri is really lacking behind when it comes to virtual assistance in comparison to others. Now, I did make a video on integrating OpenAI using Siri and the shortcuts application on your iPhone, and you guys seem to really enjoy and think that Siri should definitely get some type of AI help in order to improve the user experience. The number one comment was, "This is what Siri should have been from the beginning." So definitely a lot of interest from iOS users in regards to AI technology being integrated into Siri.

Although we don't have an exact date as into when Apple will be making this announcement in regards to Apple GPT, Mark German has mentioned that this will be coming most likely early 2024. Again, guys, this could be integrated into Siri, accessibility features, services across the board, and operating system from the Mac to the iPhone and the iPad.
